THE RESULTS OF HUMAN RIGHTS PROBABILITY ANALYSIS IN THE WOOL AND CASHMERE INDUSTRY ARE PRESENTED
The closing event of the “Business and Human Rights” funded by the European union and implemented by the United Nations Development Program was held on 5th December 2022 with the participation of representatives from UNDP, Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, professional associations, civil society organizations, wool cashmere, food and mining companies.
At the event, Tuya.Ts, manager of the Mongolian wool and cashmere association, participated as a panelist and shared the experiences and activities in the implementation of business and human rights principles in business organizations in cooperation with Snow Fields LLC for the first time in the cashmere industry and delivered a report in the company’s results.
The “Business and Human Rights” project cooperated with professional associations such as the Mongolian wool and cashmere associations, the Mongolian grocers association and the Women’s association to conduct a human rights due diligence on the operations of Snow Fields LLC, Trus trade LLC and Erdenes Tavan Tolgoi LLC.
