THE PRESIDENT OF MONGOLIA U. KHURELSUKH GOT INTRODUCED THE PRODUCTION OF “BAYLAG ULZII” LLC.

Today, the President of Mongolia, U. Khurelsukh, got acquainted with the operation of the combing and knitting factory of “Baylag-Ulzii” LLC, and met with the sectoral association of the industry and the management of the company. “Baylag Ulzii” LLC is one of the best companies in the socially responsible cashmere industry that is sustainably producing yak wool products.

Minister of Finance B. Javkhlan, State Secretary of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry T. Jambaltseren, President’s Industry and Services Policy Advisor Ch. Davaabayar, Economic Policy Advisor B. Davaadalai, and Youth and Student Development Advisor D. Davaadorj participated in the meeting.

During the meeting, D. Altantsetseg, Executive director of the Mongolian Wool Cashmere Association, presented in detail about the current state of the cashmere industry, the problems, the cooperation with the government, international organizations, and the private sector.

President U. Khurelsukh commended the development of the cashmere industry and the work done, and instructed the relevant ministries to support the government in solving the problem of value-added joint spinning production and further development of production.

In addition, he expressed his willingness to support the industry by initiating and implementing the “White Gold” national program, which will greatly support the development of the wool cashmere industry, improve the industry’s legal and investment environment, localize advanced techniques and technologies, and increase the competitiveness of national industries.
