ORGANIZED A MEETING WITH DBM LEASING LLC OF DEVELOPMENT BANK
On June 20th, 2025 the Mongolian Wool and Cashmere Association provided a detailed presentation to financial analysts and specialists of Development Bank’s DBM Leasing LLC and Asset Management LLC about the work being done to establish a system for introducing and localizing green and sustainable production and high-tech know-how in the textile sector, create new financial products, and develop the sector’s capabilities.
During the meeting, it was mentioned that Asset Management LLC has established the “Mongolian Green Development Fund” and is planning to invest 57.0 billion tugriks. The fund is unique in that it provides 13 grants to support the expansion and operations of a company, as stipulated in the Investment Law, and focuses on projects that will provide business benefits through bonds and shares. Therefore, they discussed and exchanged information on the possibility of collaborating on major projects aimed at increasing the competitiveness of the cashmere industry, including investment in spinning.
