JAPANESE MURATA MACHINERY DELEGATION HAS VISITED TO MONGOLIAN WOOL AND CASHMERE ASSOCIATION
On July 2, 2025, Taichi Suzuki, the manager for Mongolia of Japanese Murata Machinery, visited the Mongolian Wool and Cashmere Association and held a meeting to exchange views on cooperation.
During the meeting, Altantsetseg.D, Executive Director of the Mongolian Wool and Cashmere Association, discussed investments in the wool and cashmere sectors within the framework of the “White Gold” national movement initiated by the President of Mongolia, the work being done to increase product exports, create a system for introducing and localizing green and sustainable production and high-tech know-how in the textile sector, and to develop the sector’s capabilities was presented.
In addition, Taichi Suzuki Murata’s single and double winding machines have been continuously improved in technology since their first production in 1935. Today, they are fully automated, have separate motors for each head, and connect the ends of the yarn with gas without human intervention, and currently account for 50 percent of the global market in sales. Information was shared about advanced new technologies that are environmentally friendly, have fewer phone outages, save steam, water, and electricity, consume minimal energy, and have dramatically increased production productivity.
The latest upgraded Murata machines vary in yarn type and are ready to be installed and put into operation at Snow Fields LLC, the first crawler spinning machine for cashmere yarn.
The two sides expressed their willingness to work together to introduce Japanese green and advanced technologies to Mongolia and to improve and modernize equipment.
