ASIAN DEVELOPMENT BANK WILL COOPERATE IN THE TEXTILE INDUSTRY
On July 1, 2025, the ADB climate change team met with the Mongolian Wool and Cashmere Association to exchange views on the development of the NDC-3 policy document in the agricultural sector, including risk management to overcome climate-related dzud and turkhan droughts, improving the quality of raw materials, developing the value chain of livestock products, and focusing on quality rather than quantity of livestock.
The meeting discussed the work to be done to develop sustainable livestock farming that is adaptable to climate change and strengthens resilience, and to ensure sustainability and increase production by reducing negative impacts on the environment.
In addition, ADB discussed with the Ministry of Finance and banking and financial institutions how to align loans with investments and how to align existing standards with risk-tolerant policies.
