A MEETING WAS HELD TO EXCHANGE PROPOSALS RELATED TO THE PROPOSALS TO BE ISSUED IN THE CASHMERE INDUSTRY.
On 6th May 2025, regarding the refinancing of cashmere raw materials or issuing promissory notes to the Wool and Cashmere Association, the Ministry of Food Agriculture and Light Industry and the Mongolian Commodity Exchange presented the activities being carried out related to the promissory notes to cashmere sector enterprises and companies wishing to receive promissory notes, and the detailed presentation of the draft tripartite agreement between the MCE, the MWCA, and the factory, and exchanged views.
At the meeting, the manufacturers asked the Government to support them in issuing guarantees, increasing the term of promissory notes from 6 months to 1 year, and reducing loan interest rates and insurance rates.
