A CERTIFICATION BODY EXPERT COURSE IS BEING ORGANIZED
The Certification Body under the association was accredited in 2020 according to the MNS ISO/IEC 17065:2013 standard and is responsible for carrying out conformity assessment work in the wool and cashmere sector. Therefore teachers from the Mongolian University of Science and Technology, the Mongolian Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the Mongolian-Korean Polytechnic College, the Light Industry Research and Development Institute, the Mongolian Research Institute of Animal Husbandry, Mongolian consulting engineers, and specialized engineers in the field are participating in the new and refresher training for external experts to conduct product conformity assessment specified in the annex to Government Resolution No. 291 of 2018.
From April 14-18, 2025, the Mongolian Wool and Cashmere Association is organizing a customized theoretical and practical training course for the issuance and renewal of the Association’s Certification Body’s expert license in collaboration with the Government Agency- Mongolian Accreditation and Standard Metrology (MASM).
The training was led by Sodnom.Ch, Head of the Information Technology, Standards and Reference Training Center of MASM, Senior Specialist Khatanbaatar.Ch, Senior Expert of the MASM, Mungunbayar.M, International Auditor, consultant of the Certification Body and Senior Specialist of the MASM, Zolzaya.L. In addition, on April 16, 2025, the experts reviewed the activities of Cashmere Holding LLC, the holder of the “Mongolian Noble Fibre” quality mark and the “Sustainable Textile Production” system certificate.
By participating in this training, experts will improve their expert skills, acquire comprehensive knowledge, and improve their knowledge, including general certification requirements, certification schemes, guidelines for using criteria, expert code of ethics, integrity statements, confidentiality, and writing audit reports.
