Khanbogd Cashmere LLC has taken a significant step toward supporting herder cooperatives, ensuring sustainable livestock production, increasing herder incomes, addressing the challenges of climate change, and improving breeding quality.
The company purchased around 300 kid goats from Tüvshinshiree, Bayandelger, Uulbayan, and Asgat soums of Sükhbaatar Province and handed them over to the Lusyn Serchim herder cooperative in Nomgon soum, Ömnögovi Province.
This initiative will help improve the quality of core breeding stock, enhance cashmere fiber quality, and increase sustainable production volumes—boosting Mongolia’s competitiveness in both domestic and international markets.
Khanbogd Cashmere remains committed to eco-friendly and sustainable production, continually introducing advanced technologies with the expertise of skilled engineers and professionals. From sourcing pure, eco-certified raw materials to processing and producing final products entirely within Mongolia, the company is building a fully integrated production chain and maintaining its role as a leader in the national textile industry.
